Live plants make a tank healthier and more beautiful — but only if you match them to your setup. The good news: a thriving planted tank is mostly about getting the basics right, not expensive gear.
Plants need three things in balance: light (a consistent 6–8 hours a day), nutrients (a basic fertiliser for most), and stable water. Push the light too hard and you grow algae instead of plants.
We’re building beginner-friendly planted-tank guides. In the meantime:

- Fighting algae? Rebalance light and nutrients instead of reaching for chemicals.
